In this video, farmer Daniel J. Miller explains how to use a drone to spray his crops without the need for a farm tractor.
Miller, who uses a single-engine, two-wheeled farm tractor, uses a drone for spraying his crops because he believes it’s a safer method than planting seeds.
Miller said he has used drones for farming for more than 20 years, and that drones are safe to use because they are inexpensive.
Miller also uses a similar method for farming his vegetables and other crops, because he is concerned about crop damage from pesticides.
He says he does not know of any instances where a drone has caused damage.
